From my very first meeting with this couple I was impressed at how easyand comfortable I felt with them and they with me! Here is their story. Both originally from different countries, but London was the place where these two lovely people met each other, fell in love and eventually got married. In their home countries parents play a very important part in thewedding planning, including the choice of the wedding photographer! I was delighted when, after a chat and a few cups of tea I was approved by both them and members of the extended family! They wanted something light, easy and not too formal. My style, which contains documentary together with classic, reportage with posing, candid with humour, was exactly what they were looking for. Furthermore, I loved theplace they chose to register their wedding — Old Marylebone Town Hall. An amazing classic style building in the centre of London. Great spaces inside with a choice of register rooms of varying sizes and styles. (Of course you can imagine two families meeting for the first time just an hour before the wedding. Both from different countries/cultures and delighted to be coming together for this happy event. It was tears and happiness all round! At the end, after throwing confetti, all members of the bridal party took a short stroll to the reception venue. Luckily for us the weather was better than expected and after 15 minutes walk we all arrived at The Coach Makers Arms pub. Here we met the rest of the guests who joined us for dinner, drinks, toasts, first dance, cake cutting — and many, many expressions of happiness for being all together to celebrate such a special occasion.
